Sales Preps
Lime Country Thoroughbreds attend the New Zealand Bloodstock yearling sales at Karaka each year. We are able to provide individual attention and training to each and every yearling to ensure our owners have the best chance to maximise their horses’ potential in the sales ring.
We aim to deliver a carefully targeted marketing campaign to ensure that our clients are confident that their horse is getting the best opportunity to attract the attention of potential buyers by sale day. Our yearling sales clients enjoy monthly written reports on the progress of their yearlings along with photos to monitor the development of their young stock.
Lime Country Premier session horses have sold for up to $300,000 with Select session horses selling for up to $150,000 well above the averages of both sales sessions.
Our Karaka yearling results for 2012 placed us in the top Leading Vendors by Average as published by New Zealand Bloodstock with an overall sales average of $95,286 (see table below).
Yearling preparation costs start at $40.00 per day in early October and increase to $54.00 per day in December and January.
Please contact Jo on 0275 790 188 to discuss our pricing or your yearling sale option in further detail.
